Happily Naturally Me is dedicated to creating natural handmade products. Each product is carefully crafted by using raw/unrefined ingredients as the base to give you the full value of your money. We believe our customers should receive a quality product that has not been stripped of its nutrients and healing properties.
The Beginning
After almost a year of battling with her son’s eczema, Lanisha Holland became fed up with all the failed products suggested or prescribed by the pediatrician. She even resorted to trying Crisco like one of the more mature doctors suggested as a home remedy. Nothing was working to keep her son’s eczema under control so she began her research on natural remedies and never looked back.
Through her research she discovered just how many harmful chemicals were in the day to day skin and hair care products we as a society use. These harsh additives were even used as ingredients in children products which we as parents assume are safe for our little ones.
During this time frame, Lanisha also made the decision to no longer chemically straighten her hair and to embrace the kinks and curls she had long forgotten about. Through trial and error, she came up with the formula for her Whipped Shea Butter. Till this day you cannot tell her son’s skin was discolored because of his eczema and he has had no signs since he was about 1 ½ years old.
Because of her formula, her hair also grew at a rapid pace after her “Big Chop” in 2011. After constantly getting questions about what she was using to clear up her son’s skin condition and how her hair grew back so fast, Lanisha came up with the idea to launch Happily Naturally Me. We are small but growing and will add more products as time goes on. In the meantime, please enjoy the Whipped Shea Butter with more scents coming soon.
